Privacy Policy
How we handle information across the ViewSense website and the services we provide — in plain English.
Last updated: 25 June 2026
ViewSense, Inc. ("ViewSense", "we", "us") is a communications company that helps brands reach the right audience through media, PR, and technology. We care about privacy because our business depends on trust. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers our marketing website and the services we provide to our clients.
1. Who we are
ViewSense, Inc. is the entity responsible for the personal information described in this policy when we act as a controller — for example, for our website and our own sales and marketing. When we handle advertising or audience data on behalf of our clients to plan, run and measure campaigns, we generally act as a processor / service provider, and our client is the controller. See section 5.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you email us, get in touch, apply for a role or otherwise contact us, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, work email, company, role and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically on our website
Like most websites, we collect basic technical and usage data — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs and similar analytics signals — using cookies and similar technologies (see section 4).
Campaign and audience data we process for clients
When we plan, run and measure media and PR campaigns for our clients, we process data needed to reach the right audience and measure results. This is typically pseudonymous and may include online identifiers (such as cookieless IDs), device and approximate location signals, content and ad-request context, and interaction events. We do not build cross-site profiles for our own purposes, and we do not rely on third-party cookies.
3. How we use information
- To respond to enquiries, arrange conversations and support our clients;
- To operate, secure, debug and improve our website and our services;
- To plan, deliver, optimise, measure and report on campaigns for our clients;
- To use data and AI to understand audiences and improve targeting and results;
- To detect and prevent fraud, invalid traffic and abuse;
- To send service and, where permitted, marketing communications (you can opt out at any time);
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Where required, we rely on a lawful basis such as your consent, our legitimate interests, or the performance of a contract.
4. Cookies & similar technologies
Our website uses a small number of cookies and tags — strictly necessary cookies, plus analytics (for example Google Analytics, deployed via Google Tag Manager) to understand how the site is used. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies and honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
5. Data in the campaigns we run
For advertising and audience data we process on behalf of clients to plan, run and measure campaigns, ViewSense acts as a processor / service provider. We process that data only on documented instructions from our clients and under a data processing agreement. We support industry frameworks and signals including the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF), the Global Privacy Platform (GPP), and applicable opt-out signals. We work without third-party cookies, using first-party data, interoperable IDs and contextual signals.
6. How we share information
- Service providers who host, secure and support our systems, under contract;
- Advertising & media partners (such as media owners, ad platforms, publishers and measurement providers) strictly as needed to plan, run and measure campaigns;
- Our clients, where the data relates to their campaigns;
- Legal and safety — to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, property and safety;
- Corporate transactions — in connection with a merger, acquisition or financing, subject to this policy.
We do not sell the personal information of our website visitors. For campaign data, any "sale" or "sharing" as defined by US state laws is governed by our client's instructions and choices.
7. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale"/"sharing" of personal information. This includes rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR and US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA.
- For website data we control, email sales@viewsense.ai and we will respond as required by law.
- For campaign data, requests are generally directed to the brand or publisher who controls that data; we will assist them as their processor.
- You can opt out of many forms of interest-based advertising through industry tools such as the DAA (optout.aboutads.info) and the NAI (optout.networkadvertising.org), and via the Global Privacy Control signal.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Campaign data is typically retained for limited periods defined with our clients, then deleted or aggregated.
9. International transfers
We may process information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Security
We use technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access and continuous monitoring — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to safeguard your data and align our controls with recognised standards.
11. Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
